I saw that sign that night as, well, a sign, and promised myself I’d visit when the time was right.įreshly vaccinated, I kept that promise last weekend and headed to Encore Boston Harbor ( ) for an overnight of food, fun and pampering.Įncore Boston Harbor is reopening well, easing their way back to normal both by limiting crowds (they max out at 40% but seldom reach that), cutting down a bit on time open (while the casino is open 24/7, the hotel and its amenities are only open Thursdays through Sundays for now) yet amping up the fun with new offerings like the amazing Night Shift Brewing Kitchen & Tap that opened there last weekend.
I looked up, and there was the Encore sign - reminding me that there was a world beyond lockdown, and it will be back again.
